I really liked the rant in this episode. You were spot on about bad handwriting and the overuse of digital media for communication. I have bad handwriting but I insist upon writing in my magical books by hand for the reasons that you described. My intent, motive, emotion, all of it is scribed when I write. I can’t lie to myself on paper as easily as I can on the computer and I’m less inclined to do any subtle deception as well.
I have decried that digital communication, while useful and invaluable, is still and will probably always be inferior to more manual and personal kinds of communication. Or perhaps I can summon it up more easily if I simple say:
Reality > Not Reality
